Gambling in Minsk: Where to Go
The capital of the Republic of Belarus is an interesting place to go to gamble. The first impression of the city and of the country is its cleanliness. Especially bright contrast after Moscow and St. Petersburg dirty streets. A relatively small number of cars is also a plus. Rarely when a traffic jam delays movement by more than 10 minutes and driving in Minsk is very safe.

You should definitely look into the “Shangri La”, this is one of the most luxuriously decorated casinos of the Belarusian capital with well-trained staff and cozy atmosphere. This is not surprising, since the management is carried out by Michael Boettcher’s Storm International company, which has been working in the gambling business in different countries for more than 25 years. In addition to the classic set of table games and slots you will find in «Shangri La» excellent cuisine. There is a restaurant with a European chef and a speciality menu.
If you go to Shangri La at the weekend, you will become a participant in some event. There is always a lottery and an entertainment show at Shangri La Minsk. The level of such parties corresponds to the entertainment in European and American casinos. Darren Keane, Storm International managing director, has said that the casino is constantly working to improve the level of service. And it is noticeable.
There is nothing special to say about the other establishments, except that almost all of them are designed for visiting Russians, and not all Europeans will appreciate the proposed level. Entourage varies from rich finishes to painted and hung walls.
Poker clubs, which exist separately from the casino, are rare in Minsk, but if you look, there are some. The games are different there, and you have to understand that if you already go to the club, it should be legal.
The slot halls are scattered around the city very densely. But they do not always look presentable. Exceptions exist, of course, but there are not many of them. If you already choose a place to play slots, then it is better be in the casino.
